Victor Pitanga is a Brazilian writer, translator and language teacher.

Born and raised in Brazil, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. He began as a language teacher in 2011 while attending university where he earned a degree in Social Sciences and started working as a translator.

He has taught both Portuguese and English in several different schools in Rio as well as private tutoring and small-group settings. 

 

He published a poetry book in Brazil and currently writes for the art magazine Revista Usina and for the blog Instituto Estratégia Global. He also writes songs for local musicians and songwriters.
